About the Academy
Like to act, dance, or sing?
The Summer Academy with the Family Community Theatre is just that! This is your chance to learn new skills and strengthen your current abilities. Never sung, danced, or acted before? That’s okay, too! We’re here to help you learn and feel more confident onstage and off.
About the Academy
You will learn hands-on about various areas of theatre such as choreography, building stage presence, developing a character, and other tools to help you grow as an actor! You will learn and rehearse a presentation during the week for the Showcase Performance.
Academy Schedule
The FCT 2024 Summer Theatre Academy will be Monday, June 3, thru Friday, June 7, 2024, with the showcase that Friday (June 7) night at 7:00pm.
Cost
$75 per participant* (Includes an Academy T-shirt) – The T-shirt will be delivered to participants living in the area.
